Online

Online psychiatric consultations and online second opinions provide information specific to your needs in the areas of psychiatric medication information, including information about how and why antidepressant medications, such as SSRIs, Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro, Celexa, Wellbutrin, Effexor, Serzone, and Remeron may or may not work for you; and information about how antianxiety medications may be used to help your symptoms.

Dr. Pierce performs all elements of the consultation or second opinion himself. He does not use ancillary professionals or computer scoring. The process may involve e-mail or telephone communication to be certain that Dr. Pierce obtains all the information he requires to render a professional opinion. You will receive a formal, written report of his findings.

Online consultations are not considered treatments. Since Dr. Pierce will not perform a face-to-face evaluation interview, you will not be his patient. Dr. Pierce's impressions and recommendations will be based on information from professional journal literature and his own extensive experience with patients who have had signs, symptoms, complaints, suffering, and experiences with medications similar to yours. In some cases, these impressions may not be specifically relevant to your current situation. The recommended use for your consultation report is for information and discussion with your prescribing physician or treating psychotherapist.

For further information about seeking an online consultation or second opinion, please contact or phone Dr. Pierce at 707-525-9045 or toll-free at 866-289-7600.
